Dannyelle

Dannyelle, her crew, (lol I'm playing) and I met up at the Big Oak to start off her Senior Session and kicked off our 2 hour adventure I think, with a bang! She had the best "roll with the flow" attitude and did anything I asked, was willing to pitch in her own ideas, and to top it off is beautiful inside and out. I had a blast if I haven't made that clear yet. After The Big Oak, we headed to the alley @ Liam's Restaurant and even though she probably thought I was crazy when I asked her to get in the window sill she did it anyways and ended up loving it. Once we were done jumping in and out of windows there we headed to the Rose Garden & Cherokee Lake where we climbed onto the railroad tracks and finished up by the lake. If you haven't gotten the picture yet here are some samples to help you along...

What's going on here...

Let me just start by saying that I feel so blessed and lucky to have had the chance to meet such amazing people these past two weeks. The Summer Sweeties Contest is almost over and I have several sessions left to do and I'm looking forward to them. I think my favorite sessions are Toddlers, Seniors, and Couples!

I love all types of photography and could plan my days doing one session after another all day but I love to photograph children, they bring so much joy into the world that you can't help but love them and their little personalities! Seniors always have so much spunk and have their own unique ideas that adds that little something extra to the sessions. Couples, especially newly engaged couples...it's like capturing the butterflies with each snap of my camera! That stage where everything is new and you can't get enough of each other just screams at me through my lens and reminds me why I love photography so much!

With all of this said I can't express how much it means to be that my clients want to share their experiences with me...they trust me enough to capture the moments that only last for that short amount of time and I cherish that trust because I, myself have trusted others and know how much they meant to me to be able to look back on and remember!

Because I know how much these moments mean I am always working, searching, trying to find new, innovative ways to add to my style of photography as well as adding new offers so that everyone can find that one thing that they love to cherish their memories in a different way.

I am so absolutely giddy to announce that next week Backward Glance Photography & Design will have a new, fresh, website that I am in looooooove with! I cannot wait! Since the moment I decided to change the site that very night I dreamed about it all night long and how it would look and what I would do differently and what I am going to add and I'm so excited. Yes, I know I'm a dork, but just wait!

So many new things are coming up within the next few months and I hope you all will be just as excited as I am as time passes by and each one new item and/or change is announced! So make sure you keep checking back and leave comments anytime, anywhere especially on this blog. I love to hear from my clients and their friends and family...

Kierstynn

This little girl has more artistic style than anyone I have ever seen. She was a sleepy one during the shoot but she made it through and as always looked adorable!
